Shannon's Birthday at the Zoo

Shannon turned 25 on Monday. :) Josh took the day off and Shannon, Joshua, Abby and Cody (the little b0y Shannon watches a few hours a day) went to the San Diego Zoo. It was great. The Lord blessed us with great weather and some active animals. We actually got to see the koalas eating and crawling. The jaguar, leopard, lynx and many other cats kept walking back and forth in front of their cages. We got to see the polar bears for a few minutes before they were pulled in from their exhibit.

After the zoo, we picked up our Halloween costumes and went to work out at Mike's House of Pain. Shannon's first day. She is even more proud of Josh for doing that every day than she was before. Got a quick birthday hug from mom on the way home. Josh made hamburgers for dinner and we relaxed. What a great day.

On October 17th we were able to go see Jillian get a 4D ultrasound. Here is what Jade will soon look like. We can't wait to meet her!

Shannon is a nanny for one of the nicest families ever. They have a one year old little girl (Happy Birthday, Abby on Oct. 24th) and here a few pictures to share with you.

Lake Arrowhead

Last weekend we got to go up to a fantastic cabin in Lake Arrowhead. On Saturday we walked around the shops in the Village and then just went back to the cabin to relax. The weather was sunny with a little breeze...great "being outside in the mountains" weather. Saturday night got a little more chillly and by the time we woke up on Sunday morning the winds were crazy! There was so much fog and wind that it looked like it had been raining hard, but it was really just the precipitation from the fog hitting the windows.
