In about a month our lives will change forever. As often as I feel Hannah moving around inside me- stretching, kicking, hiccupping- and have amazing 3D images of her sweet little face, it is so hard to believe that there is really a little person inside of me. We cannot wait to see her little personality and hear her little voice. Now a sappy letter to baby...
Dear Hannah,
Mommy and Daddy are so excited to meet you. Today is Father's Day and I gave Daddy a little card from you (and me). He started to tear up and told us how excited he is to hold you and meet you. We pray that we will be great parents for you and feel honored that God has chosen to give us a precious little child of His to raise. We pray that you will grow up to have a strong relationship with our Heavenly Father and that no matter what strange things happen in the world around you that your faith in Jesus will not wane. We are so excited to play with you, cuddle with you, teach you, and help you grow into the amazing woman we know you will be.
Love,
Mommy

Christmas is Upon Us
I know that every year I say, "Next year I will be more prepared" the closer we get to Christmas day. This year that still holds true. I thought I had more to say about this, but I cannot formulate my thoughts into anything more than that right now. Merry Christmas everyone!
Baby on the Way
I think the few people that look at this blog already know our exciting news. Most of the extended family will find out at Christmas and we can't wait to tell them. Baby is due July 18, 2013. I think we have chosen first names (though at this point we are not planning on sharing them), but middle names are a ways off. I think Josh doesn't want to have to think about it until we know the sex of the baby.

Birthday Safari
As seems to be the beginning of a good tradition, Josh was able to take my birthday off and we took my newest munchkin to the Safari Park.

Faux-Family
Abby's parents are adopting their second daughter (yay!) and while they are picking her up I (along with Josh when he can) are staying with Abby. We picked her up from a friend's house the morning we returned from our cruise. We decided to take her to Leo Carillo Ranch to look at the peacocks. We had a lot of fun playing with her last weekend. Here are some of the crafts and activities we have done. We've done much more, but that requires more uploading that I have yet to do.

San Diego Zoo
Abby and I got to go to the Zoo with a bunch of friends. Her most important priority was to ride the Skyride. When we first met up with Nicole, Matthew, Janne, Elliana, Erica, Harper, Allie and Gavin we began walking by the monkey trail. Abby saw the Sky Ride up above and was so excited she began yelling, "Shay Shay, sky ride!" and said/ gestured to the gals behind us, "Come on!!!" It was very cute. Sadly, she had to wait a while to ride it, but she got to ride it three times so she was happy.
